Downtown Davis, lately the subject of criticism, is probably one of the most important members of the Starnes club. From my perspective, anyway.

Davis represents a bridge to many, many more extreme and less caring people on Fox News.

His limits on the left are very obvious, but his limits on the right are also there if you pay attention and treat him as an equal.

Without Davis, the Starnes club might become an irrelevant pod of trolling “liberals”.

I think this was intuitively acknowledged when the Davii were active. I, for one, stand to defend Downtown Davis.
