HOA Board

By BillIAm

Hello all,

It has come to my attention that we all need a refresher on the Starnes Toddominium HOA rules and bylaws.

A number of complaints have been made about the actions of other tenants(names will be left out), and we here at the HOA think it necessary to cover our commandments(which you all signed).

1. Thou shalt not use inconsistent shingles on your roof.

Recently, an owner’s roof was damaged form a falling tree and required repair. The “new” shingles do not exactly match the color, hue, and “brightness” of the old shingles on neighboring rooves.

2. Thou shalt not display signs of any kind on the exterior of the Toddominium.

This goes for signs, banners, billboards, and especially “For Sale” signs. We do not want to put across the feeling that people don’t want to live here. You may display them inside your windows. Additionally, if the USPS leaves a note on your door for a package pick up, you will be subject to punishment.

3. Thou must carry thy dog at all times in the lobby.

Pet’s feet must NEVER touch the floor of the common areas. There are just too many things going on in the lobby, the dog might jump on someone or go to the bathroom. This goes for bears too.

4. No smoking

There is a ban on smoking in all public areas – including balconies, patios, courtyards, and swimming pool areas. Other areas include the interior of your Toddominiums. We will do bathroom smell checks if need be.

5. Lawn care.

Lawns must be maintained within the guidelines of the HOA set forth:

a. Minimum height 2.1”

b. Maximum height 2.8”

c. NO WEEDS

d. NO CRAB GRASS

e. Color will be constrained to #567d46, no exceptions

f. Roses will be permitted but no less than 4 and no more than 6 are allowed

g. Grass bag clippings will not be tolerated curbside

6. Trash/recycle cans may only be placed 30 minutes prior to pickup and may only remain 30 minutes after.

I hope that this reminder will help us all enjoy our Starnes Toddominium experience even more. Thanks in advance for all your continued cooperation and thanks for being part of the winning team!

Sincerely,

HOA Board
